from the inside out

“from the inside out” is the first book in my published poetry collection series called “words from the water”. it is an ode to the trauma i have experienced in my life thus far and how i have grown from it. this si exhibited in three sections: the reckoning, the healing, and the triumph. take everything from my words or take nothing at all.

beginning statement: i do not know why i write. the witching hour struck while the breeze was still warm, and my pen was lifted. it has been stolen many times before. it will most likely be stolen again; for, i do not win every battle of this war. yet, the dam has broken, and you may choose to follow the floods downstream.
